Fool-proof security for the 12th South Asian Games games in Guwahati: Assam Chief minister Tarun Gogoi
With players of eight international country participating in the 12th South Asian Games, Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi has assured a fool-proof security.

SAG games is jointly hoisted by Guwahati and Shillong. Chief Minister held review meeting army, police, para-military forces, intelligence agencies and sports administrators to discuss the progress of the last minute preparations including security.
Gogoi said, “Government has arranged a fool-proof security for the sportspersons as well as the spectators for the smooth conduct of the games”.
Gogoi further said that as far as infrastructural preparedness is concerned finishing touches is going on and if there is any deficiencies last minute steps are being taken to address them. All the Chefs de Mission in charge of running the games expressed their satisfaction over the facilities put in place.
Gogoi also said that even the Sports Ministry of the Government of India also appreciated the excellent work undertaken by the State Government Officials in preparing the stage for the prestigious 12th South Asian Games within a limited period.
Around 4400 athletes will come to Guwahati to take part in the games.
