NEW DELHI: Online food ordering platform Foodpanda has partnered with Iskcon Food Relief Foundation for a week-long stock food donation initiative to mark the World Food Day on October 16.

The initiative—called You say, we give—will allow users on the platform to donate selected stock food items through Foodpanda, the company said in a statement on Thursday.

Users can participate by logging on to Foodpanda's page and donate potatoes, pulses, flour, pasta and rice.

On behalf of the customers, Foopanda will donate 1kg each of the selected items to Iskcon.

On sharing the posts on Facebook, Foodpanda will double the amount of the donation, the statement said.

Serving more than 12 lakh underprivileged children, Isckon also runs a vegetarian mid-day meal programme. It is active in about 75 countries.
