Five killed as Doon Express derails

JAUNPUR: Five persons were today killed and 50 others injured when several bogies of the Howrah-Dehradun Doon Express derailed near Mahrawa Station.

The incident took place this afternoon, Superintendent of Police, Jaunpur, Akash Kulhari said.

"Five persons have been killed and 50 injured in the accident", he said.

Relief and rescue teams have been rushed to the spot from Varanasi and Lucknow.
