First batch of India Reserve Battalion passes out

This batch has been raised for Uttarakhand and would be a part of the reserve battalions being raised across India.

GORAKHPUR: Uttarakhand DGP Ajay Kumar said terror posed a serious threat to internal security and urged people joining the security forces to be ready to tackle it.

Addressing India Reserve Battalion (IRB) recruits at a passing out parade here, he said they should brace up to take on the challenge of terrorism.

This batch of the IRB has been raised for Uttarakhand state and would be a part of the reserve battalions being raised across the country.
