A fire broke out today in an industrial area housing chemical units in suburban Malad here but there were no reports of injuries so far, fire brigade sources said.

MUMBAI: A fire broke out today in an industrial area housing chemical units in suburban Malad here but there were no reports of injuries so far, fire brigade sources said.
The blaze started at 7.15 am in a locality where a large number of small chemical units are located, they said. The cause of the fire, is not yet known.
Fifteen fire engines and five jumbo tankers have been dispatched to douse the blaze.
Ambulances have also been sent to the spot.
