Fire breaks out in under-construction building near Kamala Mills compound

MUMBAI: A fire broke out in an under-construction building near Kamala Mills compound on Saturday.

The incident comes a year after a major fire had broken out at Kamala Mills compound in 2017, claiming lives of 14 people.

According to recent reports, five fire tenders have reached the spot.


There have been no casualities reported as of yet, with the cause of the fire still not known.


On December 29, 2017, a massive fire had engulfed two roof-top pubs -- Mojo's Bistro and 1 Above -- located in Kamala Mills compound in Lower Parel locality of Mumbai, killing 14 people and injuring several others.
