FIR against Dayashankar Singh ordered

HAJIPUR (BIHAR): A Vaishali district court today ordered registration of an FIR against expelled BJP leader Dayashankar Singh for his derogatory remarks against BSP chief Mayawati.

Chief Judicial Magistrate Jai Ram Prasad ordered registration of the case in district SC & ST police station on a complaint by Balendra Das, former Vaishali district chief of Bahujan Samaj Party.

Das' counsel Ranjit Kumar alleged that he was hurt after hearing the derogatory remarks by Singh against Mayawati as shown in TV channels and published in newspapers.

The complainant sought action against Singh under various IPC sections.
