Final rites of chopper pilot M S Reddy performed in Nalgonda

The final rites of pilot M S Reddy, killed along with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy in a chopper crash on Wednesday, were performed today in Nalgonda district of Andhra Pradesh.

HYDERABAD: The final rites of pilot M S Reddy, killed along with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy in a chopper crash on Wednesday, were performed today in Nalgonda district of Andhra Pradesh.

The mortal remains of Reddy were taken from here this morning and cremated at Brindavanpuram with state honours.

Apart from family members and relatives, Minister for IT, Sports and Youth Affairs K Venkat Reddy, Air Force officials and other officials paid their last respects to the deceased pilot.

The final rites of Rajasekhara Reddy, Principal Secretary P Subrahmanyam, Chief Security officer ASC John Wesley and another pilot Group Captain S K Bhatia, who were all killed in the helicopter crash, were performed in different parts of the state yesterday.
