Fill up vacancies before right to service law: Union to CM Devendra Fadnavis
MUMBAI: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis should first fill up over one lakh vacancies in government services before enacting Right to Service Legislation, the state government staff association said today.

"We welcome the decision to enact the legislation. However, Fadnavis should first fill up the vacancies which will enable effective implementation of the decision," G D Kulthe, chief advisor of Maharashtra State Gazetted Officers Association, said.

"Fadnavis should direct top officials and departments to fill up the vacant posts," Kulthe said.

Fadnavis had said after taking over as the Chief Minister that his government would introduce Right to Service Act which will give people the right to avail government services in a stipulated time.
