Farmer protests: Police resort to lathi-charge, detain Sukhbir Singh Badal, party workers
Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leaders Sukhbir Singh Badal, former union minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal and party workers were detained by police during Kisan March against the farm laws on Thursday. SAD began a long protest on Thursday demanding that the government should roll back the farm laws, the party has referred to as 'black laws'.
