The breakthrough came when a police personnel, acting on secret information, went and struck a deal with the accused, upon which a raid was conducted and 98 fake currency notes of $100 denomination were recovered.

Interrogation revealed that the notes were printed at Babarpur, Shahdara, from where a computer, printer cum scanner, dye for hundred dollar notes, offset printing machine and other raw material for printing counterfeit notes were seized, police said.

Om Prakash was a resident of Nepal and claimed printing of counterfeit notes was rampant there. He received his training there and shifted base to Delhi six months back.
