Yadav said that he had discussion with Congress. "We will have discussion with All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF). We are part of UPA and had long relationship with Congress."

He added that opposition alliance must ensure communal forces do not come to power in Assam. "The country is witnessing unprecedented unemployment, farmers are protesting opposing the farm bill and economy is in bad shape."
He said that BJP has been destroying constitutional bodies and the Constitutional bodies are working as cells of BJP. "State-run companies are sold out and scope of reservation is drying up," he said.
He added, "We will have to ensure that Communal forces do not come to power in Assam."
