Expelled BJP leader Dayashankar Singh insults Mayawati again, denies later
AGRA: Former UP BJP vice-president Dayashankar Singh, who was expelled from the party following his controversial remarks against Mayawati and subsequently booked under SC/ST Act, equated the BSP supremo to a "dog" on Sunday while accusing her of "running after money".

"She is a greedy woman and is like a dog that chases speeding motorcycle in lanes, but steps back when the vehicle stops," he said. Singh alleged that Mayawati and her family members and associates, including her brother Anand Kumar and political advisor Satish Mishra, had "minted crores through dubious deals". He also dubbed her "deceitful" and "coward".

Caught on the wrong foot, Singh, who in July had called Mayawati a "prostitute" while accusing her of selling BSP tickets to the highest bidders, later completely denied equating her to a dog, despite the fact that his comments were video-recorded. "It's Mayawati and her party members who call us dogs instead." he said. "Mayawati is corrupt to the core ," he said at a function.
