Ex-MLA terms Khushwaha 'unsuitable' for BJP's LS ticket

The BJP leader, who was party MLA from Chilkar in Ballia district, said he will meet workers and supporters on March 20 to discuss further poll strategy.

BALLIA: Former BJP MLA Ram Iqbal Singh today termed party candidate Ravindra Khushwaha as "unsuitable" for contesting Lok Sabha polls from Salempur constituency and said he would discuss further poll strategy in a meeting with his supporters on March 20.

"Kushwaha, son of former MP and SP leader Harikewal Prasad joined BJP from SP four months ago and has been given the ticket, which is not fair. He was even not found suitable in SP for MP ticket..He is not suitable for becoming MP," Singh said.

The BJP leader, who was party MLA from Chilkar in Ballia district, said he will meet workers and supporters on March 20 to discuss further poll strategy.

Singh had contested last Lok Sabha polls on BJP ticket from Ghosi constituency.
