MANGALORE: Former KPCC president B Janardhana Poojary on Tuesday asked the Election Commission to institute an inquiry into the seizure of Rs 10 crore in Bellary on Monday.
There was a need to establish to whom the cash belonged and the recipient, Poojary told reporters here.
Police yesterday arrested seven persons and seized Rs 10 crore being transported from Andhra Pradesh to Bellary in two cars.
He urged Congress rebels to give up their protests and work unitedly for the party's success in next month elections.
