Ex-Forward Bloc MP and nephew of Subhas Bose passes away

KOLKATA: Former MP Subrata Bose, youngest son of Sarat Chandra Bose and nephew of Subhas Chandra Bose, passed away after a cardiac arrest at his residence here.

Bose, who was suffering from lung infection for a long time, died yesterday at his residence in South Kolkata.

He was 83, family sources said.

Bose was a Forward Bloc MP from 2004 to 2009 from Barasat.

He is survived by his wife and two daughters.
