Everyone just criticizes me, Arvind Kejriwal tells Arnub

If Arvind Kejriwal had a funny bone, it was carefully hidden from the public all these years. The 46-year-old AAP leader is known to be an earnest slayer of cynicism but rib-tickling repartee wasn’t exactly his forte. In fact, he had been often at the receiving end of digs over a nagging cough and a muffler that defined anti-style in fashion.

With exit polls predicting a surprise win for him in the Delhi polls, Kejriwal shocked everyone further with his witticism and smarts when he appeared for a candid chat in The Viral Fever’s Barely Speaking with Arnub, the popular show online. TVF is associated with The Times of India for its latest campaign, The Great Indian Litterbug.

So, when you go out dressed like that are you trying to say that the aam aadmi has a bad dressing sense?” Kejriwal quipped, “No. I wear whatever I ?nd comfortable. This is what I used to wear before I became the Chief Minister.

And this is what I wear now. Arnub, political parties criticize me for my political statement, you are criticizing me for my fashion statement, at home my wife criticizes me for my bank statement. Everyone just criticizes me.”
