Even a butcher is shy of Narendra Modi: Lalu Prasad Yadav
PATNA: Latching on to Trinamool Congress' 'butcher' jibe at Narendra Modi, RJD president Lalu Prasad today said 'even a butcher is shy' of the BJP Prime Ministerial candidate.

"Even a butcher is feeling shy of him (Modi)," Prasad said in a twitter message.

His remarks come in the backdrop of a no-holds barred war of words between Trinamool Congress and BJP.

TMC had hit out at Modi on Sunday calling him the "Butcher of Gujarat", in an angry retaliation to his attack on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

Addressing an election rally at Mahua in Hajipur constituency, Prasad accused Modi of "triggering" 2002 Godhra communal riots.

"I stopped L K Advani and VHP leader Pravin Togadia in Bihar in 1990 and will do so to Narendra Modi too," he said.

Prasad, however, came under attack from his rivals with Samajwadi Party president Mulayam Singh Yadav tweeting, "Jhoot mat boliye chacha, gai aur bhaisiya ka to tum sirf chara khaiye ho" (Don't tell lies uncle, you have only eaten fodder) in an apparent reference to the fodder scam.

Senior Bihar BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi in his tweet on Prasad said the oil in his latern (RJD symbol) is coming to an end.
