European Union Ambassadors call on Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy

PUDUCHERRY: A delegation of Ambassadors of the member countries of European Union met Chief Minister N Rangasamy at his chamber during their visit here today and discussed various issues including promotion of tourism and preservation of heritage features of Puducherry.

Joan Cravinho, Ambassador of the European Union led the team during the meeting in which they discussed with the Chief Minister, the scope available for joint initiatives to promote tourism, heritage features and preservation of heritage structures in Puducherry.

The delegation also had a meeting with Lt Governor A K Singh at Rajnivas earlier.

European Union Ambassador Joan Cravinho, along with a host of ambassadors of member countries of EU are on a three-day visit, which started on December 8, to Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
