ET lensman's pic wins Election Commission prize

ET senior photographer N Narasimha Murthy is among the seven photo-journalists who have won prizes in a photography contest organised by the election commission office in Karnataka. The chief electoral officer's (CEO) office had invited photographs from professional and freelance photographers taken on May 10, the day of the assembly poll.

Murthy's picture showed a middle-aged man without legs and an arm enthusiastically participating in the election on the outskirts of Bengaluru. The EC press statement said 65 professional and freelance photographers had participated in the photography contest and a selection committee chose the winners.
