An estimated 20.9 per cent of the electorate cast their votes in the first three hours of polling for the lone Lok Sabha seat in Nagaland today.

KOHIMA: An estimated 20.9 per cent of the electorate cast their votes in the first three hours of polling for the lone Lok Sabha seat in Nagaland today.

Around 20.9 per cent of the total 11,77,572 voters have turned up to cast their vote in the first three hours. Voting started at 7 AM.

Kiphire district has seen the highest turn out till 10 AM with 32.59 per cent while Peren district is lowest at 5 per cent, officials said.

Voting in taking place peacefully in all the districts, except the disputed area belt between Assam and Nagaland at Ladaigarh Polling Station No. 1 located at Government Primary School, Tamlu sub-division Longleng district.
