Entire Kashmir is ours; Gaurakshaks should work as per the law: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat
"The entire Kashmir is ours, including Mirpur, Muzaffarabad and Gilgit-Baltistan. Strict action should be taken against the people who try to cause commotion in the Valley,” he said.

Bhagwat’s remarks during his annual Vijayadashami address in Nagpur comes after Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged state governments to prepare a dossier on “those who consider themselves great gaurakshaks” while adding “70-80% were involved in activities that have no place in society and they, therefore, don the mantle of gau rakshaks to hide their ills”.
The PM had added, “fake cow protectors” were trying to “poison social harmony” in the name of cow protection.
Bhagwat said that the cow, revered by Hindus, is to be protected by law, and vigilantes or gaurakshaks who operate within the law perform an important service.
“Gaurakshaks are good people but they should work under the law and Constitution.” Bhagwat said that under the present government the Army had shown great courage and a fitting reply has been given to those who encouraged terror.
The RSS chief said there was the need to promote nationalism in Kashmir.
“The entire Kashmir is ours, including Mirpur, Muzaffarabad and Gilgit-Baltistan. Strict action should be taken against the people who try to cause commotion in the Valley,” he said.
