Enforcement Directorate takes possession of land belonging to Saradha group

KRISHNAGAR: The Enforcement Directorate has taken possession a piece of land belonging to Saradha group in Nadia district today, an official said.

A four-member team of ED came accompanied by local Land Revenue officers came to Narapati para under Chakdaha Block of Nadia district and measured the land belonging to Saradha group.

The land measuring around 11.5 cottah under Shimurali gram panchayat is adjacent to the NH 34.

ED officials then posted a notice on the land stating that the ED has taken possession of the land. The Block Development Officer (BDO) Chakdaha, Biplab Sarkar confirmed the ED taking possession of the land.
