Enforcement Directorate questions Rose Valley chief again
KOLKATA: The Enforcement Directorate today again questioned chief of Rose Valley Group Gautam Kundu whose firm was allegedly collecting money from the public through investment schemes.

ED sources said that Kundu was asked to appear again before the directorate's official for questioning about the alleged deployment of funds collected from the public.

ED had earlier quizzed the Managing Director of Rose Valley Group Shibomoy Dutta.

The sources said Kundu had also requested the directorate to defreeze the 2500-odd accounts of Rose Valley Group as the company was facing difficulty in making payments to employees of his various group firms.

They said that ED in no way would defreeze the accounts as it had been done on a specific purpose in the interest of investigation.

The directorate is also concurrently probing the Saradha scam along with CBI.
