Days after the state government named NCP’s Aditi Tatkare as Raigad’s Guardian Minister, the Shiv Sena—keen on securing the post for its own leader—objected, leading to a stay. Senior NCP leader Sunil Tatkare, Aditi’s father, addressed the issue at a cricket tournament, saying once the umpire (Chief Minister) decides, it must be accepted. The Shiv Sena countered, noting that even in cricket, decisions can be challenged. As the political tug-of-war continues, the outcome remains uncertain.
