The BJP has called for ending the alleged discrimination against Jammu region and said "special considerations" on communal lines for any region should be dispensed with.

JAMMU : The BJP has called for ending the alleged discrimination against Jammu region and said "special considerations" on communal lines for any region should be dispensed with.
Senior BJP leader Chaman Lal Gupta said "the prime issue of discrimination against Jammu has to be addressed. Otherwise, stirs like the recently-concluded Amarnath agitation will recur."
While speaking to party activists yesterday he alleged that discrimination against Jammu was due to the "communal mindset" of political leaders in Kashmir.
The BJP leader also accused the Congress of bowing to the wishes of various regional parties in the state.
