Kiren Rijiju lists seven suggestions for Rahul Gandhi, including asking him to "end deep hatred" towards the BJP, RSS and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In a post on X on Wednesday, Rijiju advised Gandhi to spend more time in India, avoid frequent "secret foreign vacations" and respect senior leaders to gain from their experience.
He also asked the Congress leader not to meet people he described as "anti-India" or promote their agenda. Rijiju further urged Gandhi to end what he called his "deep hatred" towards the BJP, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and treat the BJP as a political opponent rather than an enemy.
Rijiju's seventh suggestion was that Gandhi should allow the Congress to function as a democratic party and "smash dynastic politics".
Rahul Gandhi's open debate challenge to PM Modi
Meanwhile, Gandhi had challenged Modi to a public debate over allegations concerning foreign interference and the Prime Minister's accusations that the Opposition was acting against national interests.
On Tuesday, Gandhi renewed his challenge, asking Modi to choose any venue for the debate and even appoint a judge to oversee it. He also questioned why the Prime Minister had not filed a defamation case against him over his allegations concerning foreign connections.
The Congress leader subsequently reiterated his challenge, claiming that he could establish within five minutes that the Prime Minister was a "traitor".
