Electoral roll documents damaged

ITANAGAR: Unknown miscreants have burnt down several important documents related to electoral roll revision of Kurung Kumey district in Arunachal Pradesh. A group of miscreants intercepted the vehicle carrying the documents from Koloriang to Itanagar at Hawa camp near Kimin and forcefully burnt the documents, official sources informed here today.

A few police personnel, who accompanied the vehicle, were outnumbered by the miscreants, sources said. An FIR has been lodged at Kimin police station and the matter is under investigation, sources added.
