Elections 2014 Results: BJP's Uday Pratap Singh wins from Hoshangabad Lok Sabha seat

BJP's Rao Uday Pratap Singh won from Hoshangabad seat in Madhya Pradesh by a handsome margin of 3,89,960 votes by defeating his Congress rival Devendra Patel.

BHOPAL: BJP's Rao Uday Pratap Singh won from Hoshangabad seat in Madhya Pradesh by a handsome margin of 3,89,960 votes by defeating his Congress rival Devendra Patel.

Uday Pratap, a sitting MP from Hoshangabad who left the party (Congress) in the midst of Assembly polls in 2013, bagged 6,69,128 votes while Patel got 2,79,168.

In Mandla, BJP's former Union Minister Faggan Singh Kulaste defeated Omkar Singh Markam (Congress) by 1,10,469 votes. Kulaste got 5,85,720 votes while Markam 4,75,251.

From Rajgarh, close confidante of Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh and sitting MP Narayan Singh Amlabe was defeated by BJP's Rodmal Nagar by a margin of 2,28,737 votes. Nagar bagged 5,96,727 votes while his nearest rival Amlabe got 3,67,990 votes.

In Tikamgarh, BJP's Virendra Kumar defeated Kamlesh Verma by a margin of 2,08,731 votes. Virendra Kumar got 4,22,979 votes while Verma managed to get 2,14,248 votes.

From Dhar, BJP's Savitri Thakur defeated Umang Singhar (Congress) by a margin of 1,04,328 votes. Thakur secured 5,58,387 votes while Singhar got 4,54,059 votes.

In Ujjain, BJP's Chintamani Malviya defeated sitting MP Premchand Guddu by 3,09,663 votes. Malviya secured 6,41,101 votes while Guddu got 3,31,438 votes.
