BANGALORE: BJP General Secretary and MP from Bangalore South Ananth Kumar has asked Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to take the cue from his Assam counterpart Tarun Gogoi, and resign. Gogoi decided to resign his Chief Ministership after he failed to rein in the BJP wave in the north-eastern state.

“There is already an example for Siddaramaiah from his own party. It is ultimately inevitable for Siddaramaiah,” Ananthkumar, who has won against Nandan Nilekani with a margin of 2.33 lakh votes told ET. “It is for the Chief Minister to take a call on whether he wants to wait (till being told),” he added.
