Elections 2014: Demand for dismissal of Congress-NCP government in Maharashtra undue:, says Sharad Pawar
NCP president Sharad Pawar today described as "meaningless" the demand for dismissal of the Congress-NCP government in Maharashtra.

In a statement, Pawar said the Lok Sabha result is not restricted to Maharashtra alone and hence there is no reason why it should own up responsibility of the Lok Sabha defeat.
"The demand for dismissal of the Congress-NCP government in Maharashtra is meaningless," Pawar said.
Congratulating Narendra Modi for a decisive mandate, Pawar said it would ensure stability for the country.
"Congress and NCP will play a role of a constructive opposition. Speaking for Maharashtra, NCP's strength has not drastically come down. BJP had benefited and the mandate to make Modi PM had helped Shiv Sena. Congress and NCP have to work together and that will be our stand," he added.
Buoyed by stellar performance of the Shiv Sena-BJP led 'Mahayuti' alliance in Maharashtra, BJP today demanded resignation of the Congress-NCP government headed by Prithviraj Chavan.
