Election Results 2014: Mamata Banerjee not to hold any victory rally despite her massive success in the Lok Sabha polls
Even after TMC party won 34 of the total 42 lok sabha seats in West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee has said that she will not observe any victory celebration immediately.

She said Sudip Bandopadhayay was elected as the leader of the Trinamool Congress parliamentary party in the lok sabha. "Ratna De Nag and Sugata Bose will function as the deputy leaders in the lok sabha and Kalyan Banerjee will function as the chief whip of the party.
The Trinamool supremo also informed that Mukul Roy will be the leader of all MPs in both the lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha and he will be assisted by Subrata Bakshi in discharging his duty.
Mamata also termed the performance of her party as a "great victory. You (media) may not consider our victory as a major one, but you must remember that we fought a four-corner battle and a section of the media and some Central agencies were also against us." She, however, refused to reply questions on whether Trinamool Congress will play the role of the opposition party in the lok sabha.
