Election Results 2014: CPI(M) leading in Tripura's two seats

NEW DELHI: CPI(M) has established strong leads in the two Lok Sabha seats of Tripura over the Congress candidates.

While Jitendra Choudhury (CPI-M) was ahead by over 46,400 votes over Sachitra Debbarma of (INC) in Tripura East constituency, Sankar Prasad Datta of the Left party was leading over his Congress rival Arunoday Saha by almost 45,000 votes.

Counting was in progress in both the seats.
