Election results 2014: CPI-M wins both Lok Sabha seats in Tripura

Jitendra Chowdhury from Tripura East got 623771 votes while Shankar Prasad Datta from Tripura West received 6,71,665 votes

Election results 2014: CPI-M wins both Lok Sabha seats in Tripura
AGARTALA: CPI-M candidate in Tripura East (ST) constituency Jitendra Chowdhury trounced his nearest Congress rival Sachitra Debbarma by a margin of 4,84,358 votes.

Chowdhury got 623771 votes while Debbarma got 139413 votes.

In Tripura West constituency, CPI-M candidate Shankar Prasad Datta trounced his nearest Congress rival Arunoday Saha by 5,03,486.

Datta received 6,71,665 votes while his rival Saha got 1,68,179 votes.
