JAMMU: The Election Commission is likely to visit Jammu and Kashmir on November 10 and 11 to review arrangements in place for the five-phased Assembly elections.

" ECI is likely to visit here on November 10-11 to review election-related arrangements in the state," a senior State Government official told PTI today.

EC will hold review meetings with the Deputy Commissioners of all the districts, police officers, observors to review the poll and security arrangements, he said.

The EC team will also interact with leaders of political parties and others in this regard, the official added.

The team had last visited Kashmir Valley in mid October to take feedback and review ground situation after last month's floods devastated the Valley before taking a decision to hold polls in the state.

State Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) on Tuesday issued a notification for the first phase of Assembly polls in state covering 15 constituencies including two constituencies of Ramban and Banihal in Ramban district on November 25.
