Election Commission: Final electoral roll for Andaman and Nicobar Parliamentary Constituency released

PORT BLAIR: The Election Commission has released the final electoral roll for Andaman and Nicobar Parliamentary Constituency on completion of its latest drive this month.

The last entry was made on March 23 with good response from first time voters in the union territory, election department sources said here.

The latest drive has registered an increase of 9,468 voters from January last with the total electorate being 2,68,940 consisting 1,42,513 men and 1,26,427 women, the sources said.

Meanwhile, the Director General of Election Commission of India, Ashish Srivastava yesterday reviewed the preparations for the poll to be held on April 10.
