ED seizes Rs 2.85 cr cash, 133 gold coins after raids against Delhi minister Satyendar Jain
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) said those raided on Monday were "either directly or indirectly assisted" the minister in the process of money laundering.
"During the search, various incriminating documents and digital records were seized," ED said in a press statement on Tuesday. "The cash amounting to '2.85 crore and 133 gold coins weighing 1.80 kg from unexplained source were found to be secreted in the said premises and were seized under PMLA (Prevention of Money Laundering Act)."

— ED (@dir_ed) 1654599959000The agency said it had carried out search operations on the premises of Jain, his wife and his alleged accomplices who had "either directly or indirectly assisted him (Jain) or participated in the processes of money laundering".
As per available information, '2.23 crore cash has been recovered from Ram Prakash Jewellers; '41.5 lakh, and 133 gold coins from Vaibhav Jain; and '20 lakh from GS Matharoo.
The Delhi minister was arrested by the federal agency on May 30.
