New Delhi: After AAP's attack over additions/deletions in electoral rolls, ECI on Friday put out on X its communication sent to then Delhi CM Atishi.

"ECI had sent a detailed reply of 76 pages on 13.01.2025 to Atishi. Atishi had sent a letter dated 05.01.2025 to ECI in matter related to addition & deletion in Electoral Roll of 40 New Delhi AC. Another letter dtd. 09.01.2025 had also been received from Atishi on a similar matter," ECI said.

Responding to Rahul Gandhi's allegation on electoral roll manipulation, ECI clarified that although an elector can fill Form 7 online to apply for deletion of an entry, it does not mean that the entry gets automatically deleted merely by submitting the Form 7.
