ECI discusses nationwide SIR with CEOs

New Delhi: In a day-long conference with chief electoral officers of all states/UTs, the ECI on Wednesday assessed the "preparedness for a nationwide SIR" and also discussed the issue of relevant documents for the same. The CEOs suggested documents for the purpose of ensuring that no eligible citizen is left out of the electoral roll and no ineligible person is included in it, an ECI statement said.
