ECI issues show cause notice to Haryana BJP chief Mohan Lal Badoli over child in campaign video

The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Wednesday issued a show cause notice to Haryana BJP president Mohan Lal Badoli and sought a response by 6 pm on August 29 over a post made on social media platform X by the party's official state handle that used a child in its campaign video.


The ECI guidelines prohibits the use of children in election-related activities and campaigning.
