Duggal, Menon hold emergency meeting on train blast

In the wake of the blast in Indo-Pak Samjhauta Express, Home Secretary V K Duggal and Foreign Secretary Shivshankar Menon held an emergency meeting here apparently to deliberate on the situation arising from the incident.


NEW DELHI: In the wake of the blast in Indo-Pak Samjhauta Express, Home Secretary V K Duggal and Foreign Secretary Shivshankar Menon on Monday held an emergency meeting here apparently to deliberate on the situation arising from the incident.

Menon met Duggal at Vigyan Bhavan where the Home Secretary was attending a meeting on naxalism. The meeting is understood to have been called to discuss the fallout of the blast and issuance of visas to the relatives of the Pakistani victims.
