Don't be obsessed with govt falling: Pankaja Munde to Maharashtra BJP leadership

Mumbai: BJP leader Pankaja Munde on Friday slammed her own party leaders in the Maharashtra BJP for being obsessed with the fall of the Maha Vikas Aghadi government. Pankaja said that the party should not be bothered about the fall of the MVA government, but be concerned with issues related to people. Pankaja was speaking at a Dussehra rally in her stronghold, Beed.

"I am asking our own party men, who get up every day and keep talking that the government (MVA) will fall, they keep giving dates on when the government would fall and then those from the government counters by saying that they are strong enough and will not fall. Are you both going to come out of this talk of the government falling and not falling?" Pankaja asked.

"Our interest is not when the government falls or not, but what are you doing for the people. Gopinath Munde toured the entire state protesting against the criminalisation of politics that was when the government changed," she added.
