Chennai-based DOC Medical Services on Tuesday announced the launch of Doctor on Call Service, which is aimed at facilitating house visits by physicians.

CHENNAI: Chennai-based DOC Medical Services on Tuesday announced the launch of Doctor on Call Service, which is aimed at facilitating house visits by physicians.
According to a release, the service requires a network of good locality-specific doctors who could schedule their time for house visits.
"The service will currently scale up in Chennai, before expanding to the other cities in the state," the release said.
The effort was aimed at avoiding waiting to consult the doctor at the clinic, especially during sudden illnesses, Balakrishna Udaykumar, Managing Director, DOC Medical Services, said in the release.
