Do not rue India's ouster from WC: Rahul Bajaj

INDORE: There is no need for advertisers to raise a "hue and cry" over the Indian team's early exit from the cricket World Cup as they should expect both profits and losses in their business, leading industrialist Rahul Bajaj has said.
"Advertisers are doing business which has both aspects, profits and losses. After all they are doing business. There is no point in raising a hue and cry over team India's dismal performance," the Bajaj Auto chairman told reporters on the sidelines of the convocation of the Indian Institute of Management here yesterday.
However, he advised people not to treat cricketers like gods and not to criticise them too much for their poor performance.
"Cricket is just a game. Victory and defeat are part of any game. Don't give them too much hype," Bajaj said while admitting that he was not a "cricket buff".
