DMK MP Kanimozhi to move Delhi High Court for bail

Kanimozhi will appeal in the Delhi high court for her bail in the 2G spectrum allocation case after a special CBI court rejected her bail application.

NEW DELHI: DMK MP Kanimozhi will appeal in the Delhi high court for her bail in the 2G spectrum allocation case after a special CBI court rejected her bail application.

The DMK MP and former telecom minister A Raja appeared before the CBI court on Saturday. Kanimozhi and Kalaignar TV MD and CEO Sharad Kumar were taken into judicial custody on Friday after the court refused their bail. The court reserved till Monday its order on Cineyug’s Karim Morani’s bail application.

The order on bail applications of other 2G coaccused Asif Balwa and Rajiv Aggawral have been deferred till the May 24.
