DMK, AIADMK governments did not implement prohibition: Dr S Ramadoss

SALEM: PMK leader Dr S Ramadoss has faulted successive DMK and AIADMK governments for not implementing prohibition in the state, which he said has resulted in the poor spending their hard earned money on liquor.

Since women bore the brunt and many turned widows due to deaths of their alcoholic husbands, they should support his party, which is for implementing prohibition, in the coming Lok Sabha polls, he said

Ramadoss alleged that Tamil Nadu has the dubious distinction of having the maximum number of widows aged below 30 years. The PMK leader is in the district since the last two days to campaign for party candidate R Arul.
