Appearing before the solar scam commission headed by Justice G Sivarajan, the solar scam accused Biju Radhakrishnan alleged that he paid a bribe of Rs 5.5 crore to Oommen Chandy.
He said that the money was given according to the demand of Salim Rajan, the chief minister's former gunman. In return, the chief minister reportedly promised 70 acres of land in the Kinfra Industrial Park in Palakkad and 150 acres in Idukki for Biju Radhak rishnan for starting solar and wind power units.
He further disclosed that he has the visual evidence of six people including the chief minister sexually exploiting Saritha Nair. He said that he showed the video clips of the other five people to the chief minister.
Biju Radhakrishnan alleged that the list included two ministers -labour minister Shibu Baby John and tourism minister AP Anilkumar, his personal staff member Nasarulla, Hiby Eden MLA and Aryadan Shoukkat. Biju Radhakrishnan said that his life was in danger following the disclosure.
Biju Radhakrishnan added that he had contacted the chief minister even when he was in hiding. In the solar scam that happened in 2013, Biju Radhakrishnan and Saritha Nair used their political contacts to make crores of rupees by offering partnerships in their company Team Solar.
His disclosure has come at a time when the opposition parties were leading a campaign for the resignation of excise minister K Babu for allegedly accepting a bribe from bar hotel owners.
