Disappointed by poll result, but moral is high: Jharkhand Congress
Jharkhand Congress said it might have got a drubbing in the Assembly polls, but would bounce back with renewed vigour and a long-term programme.

"Disappointed, but our moral is high," PCC president Sukhdeo Bhagat said, days after Raghuvar Das was sworn in as the Chief Minister of the BJP-Ajsu Party ministry.
Congress won only six seats compared to its tally of 14 in 2009 polls.
"We have chalked out a long-term programme to strengthen the party like taking out rallies at all levels, covering block and panchayats and enrolling new members," Bhagat said at a press conference here.
Presiding over a meeting of district Congress presidents, Bhagat said the party would set up a 25-member committee at the booth level as part of its decision to pick issues like whether the people were getting basic amenities.
To a query whether Congress' interest had been hurt with anti-party activities during the elections, Bhagat said the party had asked for a report on the issue.
"Action will be taken against those found guilty," he added.
