Dilip Chenoy resigns from NSDC
NSDC stated that Dilip Chenoy, MD and CEO, has been an able leader through NSDC's initial leg of the skilling mission.

“Chenoy has been an able leader through NSDC's initial leg of the skilling mission. As the organisation prepares to enter its next phase of growth, Dilip has decided to step down from this position,” NSDC said. “He and Atul Bhatnagar, COO, NSDC, have submitted their resignations to the board, which have been accepted at the board meeting today.”
ET had last week reported this development.
Chenoy said, “It has been an interesting journey and there have been learnings along the way. Meeting the NSDC target of skilling 3.3 million Indians (March 2015) has been a definite high while there have been learnings around creating sustainable partnerships with training partners and industry.”
NSDC is based on a public-private partnership model, with a vision to skill India. Some of its key milestones include Udaan and STAR schemes (creation of an inclusive skills ecosystem), the creation of curriculum for 1,026 courses with 1,319 standardised job roles and driving participation at WorldSkills International.
