VHP on Thursday criticised Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh for targeting sants and mahants in the name of attacking RSS.

AYODHYA: VHP on Thursday criticised Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh for targeting sants and mahants in the name of attacking RSS.
"The saints would soon organise a meeting to give a befitting reply to this ideological invasion of the Congress," VHP spokesman Sharad Sharma said in a written statement.
Criticising Singh, who has been alleging RSS role in the civil society campaign, he said his statements showed no regard to the sants. Those attacking the sants are attacking religion and this would not be tolerated at any cost, he added.
